Operation North State “Top Shelf” Fishing Festival: June 2, 2017

For the first time, Operation North State's Top Shelf Fishing Festival was held at Lawson Creek Park in New Bern.Over a hundred boaters took to the waters of the Neuse and Trent Rivers around 8am. Participants were happy with the amount of fish biting.Each fishing festival is hosted for North Carolina's Wounded Warriors, Disabled Veterans, and respective caregivers.

A good time was had by all. 14 Tryon Members came out to serve and 47 Veterans got to go fishing. Way to go Tryon!!! Thank you to the volunteers and the wonderful dessert chefs!
