Tryon members, Stephanie Crosby, Amy Still, Kathi Whitfield, Leigh Wilkinson, Pierre Winkler, and Kristina Winkler along with two Craven Early College Junior Civitan members, Luz Hernandez and Emmi Romero attended the 2014 NCDE Convention.
Our Club and Club members received the following Awards:
1st place in Outstanding Club Bulletin for 50 members or more
3rd place in Outstanding Civitan Awareness Project for our Sugar Drive
Gold Medal award for Special Olympics
Award for contributions to Boys and Girls Homes
Leigh Wilkinson received the Carlie B Sessoms Civitan of the Decade Award
Amy Still received a North Carolina District East Civitan Fellow
6 members joined Presidents Council : Stephanie Crosby, Tod Crosby, Kathi Whitfield, Amy Still, Kristina Winkler, Pierre Winkler
