Boys & Girls Homes

During this annual collection, Tryon Civitan members determine any needs of the residents of the Boys & Girls Home and then try to meet these needs.

 

  • Traditionally this collection has been among Tryon Civitan members and takes place during April each year.

  • Some examples of donations have been school supplies, games, luggage, media resources, etc.

  • Items collected are taken to the  NC District East spring meeting held at The Boys and Girls Homes in May.

  • Keep up with Facebook posts and website blogs in order to be aware of needs at the Boys and Girls Home of NC.

  • Shop sales on needed items.

  • Help publicize this drive among our members.

  • Attend the NCDE spring meeting at Lake Waccamaw.
